I was told once that no one here cared about law enforcement or justice.  Regardless, I need to speak to whoever considers themselves in charge of such a thing.  I have a murder to report.

[Locked to Hattori 60%]
Hattori, meet me at Marshall.  I'm at the crime scene.
[Locked]

Because kids aren't the only one who find a serial killer difficult to deal with.

Is that all you do at a murder scene, Mr. Watchman?

Serial killers are dangerous, aren't they?

[He looks back]

Is there something more that should be done? The body itself will disappear and reappear at the hospital later.

[...Seriously? He had to explain this? And what was with that attitude? The body would turn up at the hospital?]

The scene should be documented. With photographic proof if possible. Any evidence should be bagged and labeled. Samples should be taken from all possible surfaces. A search should be conducted for witnesses and alibis secured from everyone who was present on this location near the relevant time frame.

Some more than others. When one is strong enough to elude even others, that just goes to show. [Very carefully worded.]

[He seems surprised at Conan's answer]

...I don't see any weapons or clues... other than that name being written down.

Sometimes the most helpful clues are the ones most likely to be overlooked. Everything in this space is a clue.

That is a dying message. And there is something wrong about that. Normally, in a dying message the victim would try to communicate the name of their killer. It is highly unusual for someone to try and communicate an unrelated person innocence.

[He couldn't argue with that, sometimes the most important details are overlooked]

...Yes, it's unusual. That's why I'll look more into who that person is.

... "Not care", is it... My, my. This truly is a pathetic world.

Even here, there should be justice.

Hoh. And yet, the pieces speak as if they have given up on such a thing.

[Cue the spazzing medic.]

You shouldn't be out alone! Why didn't you ask me to go with you?? [She's scrambling about, trying to grab all of her gear while keeping an eye on the video.] Where are you? Stay right there! I'll be there in a minute! And be careful! The murderer might still be around!

((ooc: I'm really sorry for the delay on this! It would seem that I missed the AC post (or rather...didn't even see it go up) so I've been flailing about for the past few days trying to get in touch with a mod to find out if they'd let me back in even though I fail so much. /sob I just found out this morning that they're wonderful and forgive me though, so I'm back!))

[This again, is it. well, with a murder there's no helping it. I have to hurry up and solve this case.]

The stairwell in Marshall. I'm waiting for the person from the Watch to get here.

[Conan deliberately ignores the rest of the questions.]

[No problem. These things happen sometimes.]

Will you join the justice system here, then?
