As you are using it, 'Troll' is an English internet slang term referring to users posting intentionally inflammatory comments with the goal of creating a negative emotional response. in Japan we call it tsuri or arashi. Multiple studies have been completed documenting the negative impact of such activities in different locations.

It is not a species.
