He sort of plays it off with dry humor, but he is pretty insecure and is not used to being complimented or noticed at all. Almost as if he's been treated as second-best his entire life ... However he's compassionate, quietly observant, and fiercely loyal to the people he loves. Basically your bog standard Dorky Nice Guy.
