[Accidental Video]

[The video feed turns on with no warning, and at first is jolting around so much that it is impossible to tell anything about the location or the person carrying it. There is only the sound of heavy breathing, the howls of the ferals and a low motorized whine. Suddenly the feed straightens out for a second, showing a familiar looking clearing not far from Dissimulo. And a very familiar soccer ball slamming into the nearest feral.

It is thrown into a tree with enough force to splinter the trunk, and the pack shies away for a second. But that doesn't last. With another loud howl they begin to close in.]

Is anyone comin' fer ya?!

[He'll be completely blunt.]

I am currently located approximately half a mile from Dissimulo and no one is with me or on their way here. I'm surrounded by what looks like a full pack of ferals. I have minor injuries, and I have already used most of my defense options.

[After a moment, the pace of Ran's breathing slows to a normal pace. She can't seem to take her eyes of Conan and his injuries, which seem to be bothering him a lot more now than it did a few moments ago. She does hear what Adam says though, and is alert enough to ask about it.]

Is he a doctor...?

IDIOT! Couldn't ya have told me ya were goin' out earlier?! I could'a gone with ya!

[He recognizes the frequency. And I guess this is after he's rescued.]

Conan?

He says he is. I've talked to him before.

[He avoids Ran's gaze, not wanting to see the worry in her eyes.]

Stupid! You're in Spero! There is no way you could come back for such a thing.

Yes?

Are you getting help?

Mmm, don't worry! I'm at the hospital now. Adam-niichan saved me.

He's right. Owen's the one who helped me during that fog.

[He could feel the tension in the train car...something he really wanted to be gone.]

[Adam rescued Conan? Alright, good.]

Alright, be more careful next time.

I will! [Do you actually believe him?]

Why did you wander by yourself? [Not really, but he trusts that Adam or someone from the Watch will keep an eye on him.]

[She gives a bit of a nod, though it doesn't look like she feels any better about it. She lets out a sigh, looking once to both of them--

Noting how Conan is avoiding her.]

Okay...so?

Either of you wanna tell me what was going on out there?

[Like why the hell Conan was out there in the first place--

They've got a nice long sub ride to fill.]

[He still doesn't look straight at her.]

It was my fault. Adam-niichan came and helped me.

I wasn't expecting to run into an entire pack.

I saw the broadcast and ran over as fast as I could.

I'm guessing with my communicator on, it recorded something and that's how you came to help us, right?

That's pretty much the long and short of it. I saw both broadcasts...and with how he looked I-I figured you might be heading towards the subway.

[She scoots a bit closer to Conan to get a better look at his injuries, frowning...]

What were you doing out there?

[He holds back a sigh.]

[He tries to shift away from her, but winces as the movement jars his ankle.]

I was bored, so I went for a walk.
