Conan is a deduction genius and incredibly observant. Like his idol he is capable of performing a Sherlock Scan on people he meets.  Since I certainly don't know all of the canons in this game and since he could possibly bring up things in this way you don't want getting figured out, I put together this short permissions post.

So to help figure out this ability, please answer the following questions for your characters.

Does your character have any hobbies that might leave clues on your character's appearance?  For example a character who spent  lot of time writing or drawing might have ink stains on their hands or clothes.  Or a character who  played a lot of a certain sport might have calluses.</b> <b>7. 1. What is your character's name and journal? James Dante (often goes by Rookie) odst_mute
2. Is it okay for Conan to deduct something about your character's history? Is there anything you don't want him to figure out? By all means! It'd be amusing. :3 Although most of this stuff will be hard to notice unless you catch him out of armor (http://www.fungameshow.org/resources/halo3_odst-rookie%5B1%5D.jpg), which is why he normally doesn't like wandering around without it to begin with.
3. What is your character's physical appearance? Please include clothing style, hair color, calluses, scars, and anything else that might be visible. His hair is a very dark brown and normally cut fairly close to his head, lacking any particular style with a not quite so clean-shaven face. He also has a few scars and some burn markings in various places that he's gotten from fights and general events during missions back home as a soldier. There's also traces of natural built-up muscle, and strong evidence that he's fairly experienced when it comes to combat simply by the way he carries himself. His clothing, however, is usually plain and dull. Lacking any type of style aside from what is convenient and comfortable to wear at the time. Oh, and he's 6'1" with brown eyes.
4. Does your character have any odd tics or habits? He's more action-y and expressive than talkative, and always seems to look laid-back and easy-going but whenever he isn't paying attention or he's not on his guard, there's just the slightest incline in his shoulders. Like there's a weight there that never really goes away. He also normally appears to be worn-out and tired, and not just in his facial features but in his demeanor as well. Other than that, Rook tends to be curious and investigative, and also has a habit of using titles and generally being polite but distance to people he first meets.
5. Does your character have an accent? Nothing that stands out, no. But I'd like to think there's like a hardly noticeable hint of something foreign in his tone, one that is untraceable in origin unless you're from his own world, since he is born on Luna (Earth's moon).
6. Does your character have any hobbies that might leave clues on your character's appearance? For example a character who spent lot of time writing or drawing might have ink stains on their hands or clothes. Or a character who played a lot of a certain sport might have calluses. Rookie tends to nap a lot, and can usually get comfortable just about anywhere. So he'll always look a little dirty or his clothes a tad wrinkled depending on where he happens to randomly take a nap. His hands would also give hints that he uses guns a lot, if that's a noticeable trait, and his armor is dented with scraps and usual bumps one gets from constantly moving around. He trains quite often too, and makes a habit of running almost every day to try and keep in shape and exercise.
7. Is there anything else about your character that Conan might be able to deduct? Um, the only other thing that I can think of is Conan might be able to see that beneath that cheerful, optimistic expression there's a lot going on in his mind that's hidden from everyone else. Lots of memories (as well as a lack of some thanks to his loss) that he brushes off with a smile and a shrug, so that will likely become more and more obvious if the kid makes a point to hang around him more often. Since Rook is usually very good about hiding it, but it all really depends on when you interact with him and what's going on at the time. He'll also probably be able to tell he's a UNSC space marine from the future, lmao, since the abbreviation is on his armor as well as his blood type. That being O+.
