Conan is a deduction genius and incredibly observant. Like his idol he is capable of performing a Sherlock Scan on people he meets. Since I certainly don't know all of the canons in this game and since he could possibly bring up things in this way you don't want getting figured out, I put together this short permissions post.
So to help figure out this ability, please answer the following questions for your characters.

on 2011-06-24 04:52 am (UTC)2. Is it okay for Conan to deduct something about your character's history? Is there anything you don't want him to figure out? Felix's backstory is a sensitive issue. I'm open to him figuring out most anything, though anything that pertains to his childhood I would ask you run it past me first.
3. What is your character's physical appearance? Please include clothing style, hair color, calluses, scars, and anything else that might be visible. Felix is 6'2" and very thin with long curly, bright red hair (with streaks of white at his left temple and to the right of this forehead). He's described almost constantly as being very pretty. His skin is very pale and smooth, and he has no facial hair (he in fact lacks the ability to grow any). His left eye is bright yellow, while his right is light blue. He wears four gold hoop earrings in each ear, two at top, two at the bottom. While they might be hard to spot, since he usually wears long sleeves, he has tattoos like curling vines, in colors of blue, green, red, and gold, that start from the knuckles and go all the way up his forearms. On each palm is a single blue eye. They are very bright, as if they were inked yesterday (hint: it's done with magic :P).
Felix's clothes are roughly late eighteenth century, usually featuring trousers, lace-trimmed shirt, cravat, waistcoat, and jacket. He favors rich fabrics and bright colors, sometimes intentionally clashing with his bright hair.
Something on the more subtle side is that Felix's fingers, especially if touched, are somewhat stiff and awkward, since they were once broken and then improperly healed. He normally wears rings on all of his fingers, but he came into Paradisa without them and, as of yet, has not wished for them back.
4. Does your character have any odd tics or habits? He does occasionally take on stereotypically feminine gestures when speaking, like putting his hand to his throat. He calls people darling all the time. Especially if he's mocking them.
5. Does your character have an accent? His "accent" is a purposefully generic old-Hollywood American, though only because he was trained in it. His normal childhood accent is more of a deep Southern. The accent may regress if he's under stress, but normally you'll never hear him speak that way.
6. Does your character have any hobbies that might leave clues on your character's appearance? For example a character who spent lot of time writing or drawing might have ink stains on their hands or clothes. Or a character who played a lot of a certain sport might have calluses. Nothing of note. He reads alot???
7. Is there anything else about your character that Conan might be able to deduct? Felix is partially blind in his right eye. It's blue because it is a defect. Felix HATES having people on his right side and he'll take pains to keep people where he can see them and walk with that side near a wall to prevent being surprised. Conan should pick this up easy enough.
There is also a particular nature to the way he carries himself. It's extremely formal and graceful, but in an oddly stiff way, as if constantly aware of himself. Again, this is because he was trained to act like a gentleman.

on 2011-06-24 06:45 pm (UTC)Yeah, he probably won't figure that much out. Since he still doesn't believe that the castle is bringing people from different worlds. He'll probably try to find some way to justidy what he notices in the context of modern Japan.
