Fourteenth Deduction [Text]
[Conan listens worriedly to Ran in the other room. This entire disaster had caught him completely by surprise. Not only the illusory bodies being replaced with real bodies, but the thick fog cutting off travel options. Not to mention the sudden disappearance of everyone in the house. Adam and Makoto had disappeared with no clues to their location. Hattori and Kazuha were gone as well. Lost in the fog, he culd only hope.
And there was nothing he could do. Leaving the house with no clues and little visibility would be a mistake. And he could not lead Ran into that kind of danger. All he could do was try to gather information.]
Hattori? Where are you? What's your condition?
Luke? Where are you? Are you staying inside somewhere?
Is everyone okay? This fog is scary isn't it? It would be awful to be lost out there. Is there anyone missing?
Has anyone thought about what to do about all the corpses?

Has Adam come back?
Th' situation has changed.

How's your visibility? Can you make it back to the house? And what do you mean by scratched up? Do you need medical supplies?
No. Ran and I are alone at the house. Have you heard from him?
I noticed. The illusory bodies have been replaced with the real corpses. [He bites out the words slightly. The very existence of so many deaths was enough to trigger a deep anger at whoever had done this. That many of the bodies resembled people that were family and acquaintances of the victims here only made it worse.]
We may have to deal with the health issues soon. [Even contemplating this was offensive to his instincts as a detective. But the truth was that there was no way they could investigate all of these murders on site before the bodies began to rot. Better to preerve the lieves of those still living.]

We ran inta some trouble when lookin' fer more stiffs. They don't give off anymore more clues than th' last ones.
There's some type of advanced machinery that tried ta gun us down. Kazuha will eventually need medical attention, but I managed ta stop her bleeding, it wouldn't be wise fer her ta move around too much.
There was an accidental broadcast from his communicator earlier, but he never responded back.

From the few I've been able to inspect (Ran had not been pleased by his efforts) I think we can conclude the majority died violent deaths. But we have no clues as to the motive.
I'll get the supplies ready. It may take some time to get a doctor here in this situation.
I saw it. I've been monitoring the frequencies, but there have been no other posts from him since then.

All in all... I have no idea what to do with the bodies. I don't even know if they would disappear for good if you fed them to one of the monsters.

[Voice] thank you for being patient with me
I'm okay. St-staying inside. It's t-too hard to see in the fog anyway to even t-try and go out now.
[Voice] I'm amazed you remembered about this for so long
[But Conan's voice is relieved. That's one more person to check off his list.]

H-Hey, kiddo. Are you all right?
[She's really glad he didn't run off this time. He's social, so the feed doesn't surprise her, though she's still not sure how to feel about a kid his age asking about dead bodies so frivolously like that.]

[She sits down next to him, her communicator in her hands. She manages a smile, but it's obvious she's worried. She--
She can't even find the proper words to say, so she sort of remains silent--simply enjoying his company for now.
A sigh escapes her lips, but not much else.]

It will be okay. I talked to Heiji-niichan and they're coming back here.
