First Deduction [Video]

Ne! Ne! Is anyone there? I just found this device here, and it seems a little like a cell phone. But my phone isn't working. Isn't that strange?

Is there a police officer anywhere? At school they said I should find one if I got lost.  And I can't find Ran-neechan anywhere!

Wild animals and creatures emerge after dark. At dawn and dusk, too, close to the outskirts, but mainly at night.

[Discedo. Fortuna. That was definitely a Latin root, although he couldn't pinpoint it any further than that without checking some references.]

Do you know why it is called that? They sound like kind of funny names!

No. Only that this is not Earth.

Any language may seem odd if you do not know it; if you explore I believe you shall see signs written in English lettering and in another language.

As I said, I do not have many answers. This is the information relayed to me from others in this place, and I can only do the same for you.

However...

I have not travelled very far in my life or seen many great places. This may be similar to somewhere on Earth. I wouldn't know.
