Tenth Deduction [Accidental Voice/Action for Housemates]

[Conan tosses and turns restlessly in his sleep, obviously struggling against a bad dream. All of a sudden he bolts straight up with a half-strangled scream and falls out of bed.  He doesn't even notice his hand knocking his communicator onto the floor.]

RAN!

[He looks around frantically for a moment, then slumps back to the ground.]

Just a dream, is it?  How embarrassing.

[He knew what had brought it on, of course. So many people had been attacked recently.  Some of them close friends.  And... he had been completely useless when Hattori had been attacked.  With this child's body he had been helpless to do anything more than watch over Kazuha and Ran.

He knew better.  Everyone was fine.  But all the same he found that he couldn't resist the urge to check on everyone.  He hastily stands up and begins to silently make his way toward Ran's room.]

Actually I'm more than fine. I got punctured, I should have required stitches, but not even a scratch is there.



That's why I hafta go back an' check. Plus th' monster that attacked me was anythin' but normal. I hope th' carcass is still there.

No. Weiss gave me a list of your injuries, but none of them would answer any questions about what they did.

You might have more success getting information out of them. All they would give me are the reassurances usually given to a child.

What I do know is that after the others left Weiss gave you a sedative. While paying no attention to proper medical procedure.
