[Accidental Video]

[The video feed turns on with no warning, and at first is jolting around so much that it is impossible to tell anything about the location or the person carrying it.  There is only the sound of heavy breathing, the howls of the ferals and a low motorized whine.  Suddenly the feed straightens out for a second, showing a familiar looking clearing not far from Dissimulo.  And a very familiar soccer ball slamming into the nearest feral.

It is thrown into a tree with enough force to splinter the trunk,  and the pack shies away for a second.  But that doesn't last.  With another loud howl they begin to close in.]

[He'll be completely blunt.]

I am currently located approximately half a mile from Dissimulo and no one is with me or on their way here. I'm surrounded by what looks like a full pack of ferals. I have minor injuries, and I have already used most of my defense options.

[He's familiar with that noise: ferals were common in Dissimulo after all. That feed scared him slightly but it increased when he saw a soccer ball hit one of them.]

...you got to be kidding me!

[Without a warning, Adam started to run quickly towards Conan's location.]

[When he gets there he will be just in time to see Conan on his back and struggling to reach his skateboard. With a final stretch he slams a hand down on a concealed button and grips the edge tightly. The skateboard nearly jumps forward as an engine starts, dragging the boy out away from the knot of monsters in the center of the clearing.

Two of the ferals are down, one by a splintered tree and one in the center of the clearing. A deflated soccerball sits in the center of the clearing.]

Damn, I better not be too late!

[As he moves closer to the clearing, he notices something speeding towards him: a skateboard and-]

Conan!

[He speeds up and puts both hands on the board, eyes widening at the sight. By the Power...!]

Hang on, I'll get you out of here!

[For a second the board keep pushing forward, until Conan moves his hand and releases the concealed switch. With a hiss of pain he tries to push himself back up to his feet.]

There's an entire pack of ferals back there!

[Dammit, he only thought it was only a couple of the mutts but an entire pack?! No wonder why Conan looked like hell; bloody and who knows what else. He knew enough that he quickly took off his jacket and wrapped it around the boy's body as best as he could before picking him up.]

And hopefully they'll stay there.

[With boy in one arm and fighting rod in other, Adam starts running back towards the town. He was unaware that the pack mentioned was starting to catch up with them...

Or the fact that his communicator decided to turn itself on, sending a video feed of everything.]

[Conan doesn't fight against Adam's actions. He knows his own injuries, and can easily calculate his chances of evading the rest of the pack on his own. On his skateboard, with a full charge and no injuries he gave himself a good chance. Like this? There was no chance at all.

So he allows Adam to wrap him up and tuck him under one arm, even as he pays close attention to the forest behind them.]

...They're coming!
